cannot shring a 12.5mb .gif made with the canva website it more than doubles the size from 12.5mb to 28.5mb after reduccing the resolution?

The user calling this "fake" is lying. This is a real app for editing gifs.
I was able to successfully resize a GIF to be smaller to meet Tumblr's 3 MB
limit and the resulting GIF worked fine.

At first it was great, but now instead of making the gifs a smaller size, initially it makes them larger.
